NOTIFICATION- WE ARE EXPERIENCING ISSUES WITH OUR TELEPHONE LINES. WE WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE WHILE THIS IS RESOLVED. THANK YOU.

As lockdown eases the strain and demand on GP surgeries and the NHS has increased.  The surgery may implement changes temporarily to cope will this increase in demand.  We therefore ask you to be understanding and to appreciate that we are trying to work safely and deliver a safe service to you.

The Doctors and Staff are doing their utmost to support our patients during this time. We are under increased workload and may be affected with staff off due to self-isolation or illness. Please utilise the website read through the pages as well as visiting www.nhsinform.scot. NHS Inform is excellent and holds a whole host of up-to-date information and guidance. You might find the answer to your query.

Please be aware that our phone lines can be extremely busy. Please think if there is another avenue you could take before calling. Try your local pharmacy, optician, and dentist for advice.

If you are attending the surgery for an appointment:-

  • you must wear a mask.  Staff wear a mask to protect you, wear a mask to protect them!
  • You will be asked to use hand sanitiser.
  • Staff may take your temperature at the door. If it reports that you have a fever (37.5+), you will be asked to stay outside while staff seek advice from a GP. If you are told you cannot access the surgery, please do not give staff abuse. We are looking after your health and the health of the surgery staff.

These are challenging times for everyone, please be supportive, understanding and kind to one another.
